Visual Artist, Art Educator, Art Therapist
Co-founder and current Director of the non-profit, community-driven Pointe-Saint-Charles Art school, a fine art school in Montreal where students of all levels and walks of life can achieve the skills to express themselves through art in the contemporary world. Has worked for the past twenty-five years in the educational, community and corporate milieus with individuals and groups of all ages. Believes that art helps us think about ourselves and our world and that confidence, competence and communication evolve together through creative self-expression on the one hand and the development of art expertise on the other. She holds a B.F.A. in Art Education / Painting & Drawing and an MA in Creative Art Therapies from Concordia University and is a practicing painter. She is a professional member of the Association des art-thérapeutes du Québec, previously worked as an art therapist at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, is presently developing an art therapy program at Pointe-Saint-Charles Art School, and has a private art therapy practice.
