We offer specialized job search workshops specifically tailored to newcomers, a mentorship program, and individual employment counselling to help you gain employability skills and achieve your professional goals.
Canadian résumés have a variety of different formats and styles and having one that meets employers expectations is essential to any successful job search. Along with being one of the most important tools to have, Canadian résumés have certain standards to uphold if you want to get noticed. From understanding what to include or leave out and how to target specific positions, this workshop will assist newcomers in adapting their current résumé by learning what key information is best to highlight when applying for jobs and will also discuss cover letters and what to include. Please bring a copy of your résumé and cover letter with you to the workshop.
