Social Entrepreneurship is the use of business-like approaches to create, fund and implement solutions to social and environmental issues. It combines the passion of a social mission with business-like development, strategies and innovation. The workshops will focus on understanding the basics, exploring financing options and launching a social entrepreneurship initiative.
Launching Your Social Business

In part three of Social Entrepreneurship month, we’ll discuss the vibrant Montreal startup ecosystem and the opportunities and resources available to social entrepreneurs including incubators competitions and co-working spaces. In addition, you’ll hear from the creator of a for-profit social enterprise about her own exciting journey and experiences related to the launch and growth of her business.
