*NEW* Social Entrepreneurship Workshop Series - Launching Your Social Business *also available online*

Tuesday, April 24 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

20 50 - For all three workshops

This series of evening workshops will explore Social Entrepreneurship - the next generation of entrepreneurship. Social Entrepreneurship is the use of business-like approaches to create, fund and implement solutions to social, and environmental issues. It combines the passion of a social mission with business-like development, strategies and innovation. The workshops will focus on understanding the basics, exploring financing options and launching an initiative. Attend them separately ($20/each) or all three for $50.

In part three, we will discuss the vibrant Montreal ecosystem, and the opportunities and resources available to social entrepreneurs including incubators, competitions and co-working spaces. In addition, you will hear from an Ashoka Fellow, an international organization that promotes social entrepreneurship by affiliating individual social entrepreneurs into the Ashoka organization, about her own exciting journey and experiences related to the enterprise’s launch to growth.
