*NEW* French for the Workforce

Learn how to boost your confidence while speaking French: from engaging in small talk, standing out in your job interviews, to participating in workplace chit-chat!

French for the Workforce will go beyond the basics of French grammar. This four-week, virtual course held two days a week, will help you to step outside of your linguistic comfort zone to include four French communication skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Through this program, you can practice key job search elements including writing a CV & cover letter and nailing the job interview – all in French! You’ll learn how to optimize your candidacy with French keywords and industry terminology. And you’ll also gain confidence from personalized feedback from your instructor and peers while keeping track of your own progress.

With French for the Workforce, your 2021 job hunt will be all about making yourself stand out as the best fit. Speaking a new language does not mean you have to lose your personality, or what makes you unique as a candidate. French for the Workforce will help you to boost your confidence and bring you closer to your job search goals!

What can you expect?
  • Mock interviews – practice answering the "tell me about yourself" question with ease
  • Grammar and verb conjugations
  • Written and comprehension exercises
  • Group discussions and more!
During the four-week course, you will also have the chance to learn from fluent French speakers and industry professionals! Each session will also feature our Language Mixer and Industry Q&A Information Session events. During these events, guest speakers and bilingual professionals will be on hand to help you bridge linguistic and cultural barriers, practice your every-day French small talk, and learn more about language integration into the French workforce.

If you have knowledge of basic French vocabulary, can form simple sentences, and understand some spoken French, then this program is for you!

The course is only $75 and is held twice a week on Wednesdays & Fridays, 9:30AM – 12:30PM, over four weeks. This course is not designed for individuals with little or no previous French language abilities; classes are interactive and conducted only in French.

Pre-registration is required. This class is available online via live streaming webinars. Limited spaces available. In order to register, you will have to perform a short written and oral exam to ensure you are at the intermediate level.
