TUNE IN TO YES - THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED OR ATTENDED!

On October 18th, we officially kicked off our annual fundraising efforts with Tune In To YES11 at the historic St-James Theatre, where we welcomed over 250 of our valued donors, volunteers and friends for a night food, drinks, live karoake and fun!

We’re so thankful for their involvement in making Tune In To YES a success and we hope that everyone left the event
excited about the impact that they are making in our community.

Together, we raised close to $75,000 to help support our endeavours here at YES.

A very special thank you to our sponsors, State Street and Spiegel Sohmer and to the many in-kind supporters
for their generous support.

Didn't attend but looking to give back to YES?

We are launching our 2018 Annual Direct Mail Fundraising Campaign.

As a registered charity, we rely on the generosity of our supporters to enable us to provide  our programs
and services to the 4,800 individuals who walk through our doors each year.

Our campaign goal is to reach $40,000 by March 31st 2018.

We are asking you to join us in this effort by making a gift to help at least one young person succeed.

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. EVERY DONATION HAS A BIG IMPACT.

DISCOVER HOW CHRISTOPHER DE MARCO CHANGED CAREER PATHS WITH THE HELP OF YES

Christopher De Marco studied at Concordia's John Molson School of Business in Montreal, where he received a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction, majoring in Marketing.  For most of his professional life, Christopher worked for a local retail company in various departments, gaining experience in Marketing and Sales before unfortunate circumstances led the company to declare bankruptcy.

Following a recommendation from a friend, Christopher attended the Jump Start Your Job Search Information session as well as other workshops offered at YES. Under the guidance of his employment counsellor Ellen Englert, he volunteered at our Tune In To YES fundraising event where he was able to  grasp a better understanding of the positive impact that YES has on the community and learned of an interesting job opportunity at YES, one that perfectly aligned with his decision to change career paths.

Christopher has recently joined the staff at YES to help launch a new initiative, Youth4Youth Quebec, a project where he feels both motivated and driven to incorporate his dynamic skills with his desire to work with youth.

“I have been given the opportunity to work for YES and I have never been happier,” Christopher says. “I believe that with this unique opportunity, I will acquire new skills and experience and grow on both a personal and professional level. Thank you YES for the invaluable support!”
