Montreal – Wednesday, November 24, 2004. Youth Employment Services (YES) will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary on Tuesday, November 30th from 5 to 7 pm at the St-Paul Hotel, located at 355 McGill Street in Old Montreal.
“The 10th Anniversary celebration is an opportunity to bring together the organization’s founding members, YES alumni, and over 750 volunteers who have contributed to its success”, states Iris Unger, Executive Director of Youth Employment Services. “YES’ success is due in large part to the hundreds of volunteers who tirelessly donate their time and expertise to the organization.”
In addition to thanking its volunteers, YES will recognize the careers of several honoured guests who have served as role models to our clients and whose professional accomplishments have had a major impact in their industries. Honorees include John Dobson (Formula Growth), Andy Nulman (Airborne Entertainment), Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore Parasuco (Parasuco Jeans) and Hilary Radley (Hilary Radley Design Studio).
Over the past 10 years, Youth Employment Services (YES) has helped over 20,000 Quebecers find work or start their own business.
Youth Employment Services is a non-profit, community organization that delivers English-language job-search and self-employment services to Quebecers.
