What:
YES, a non-profit that works to build a diverse and strong economy and community in Quebec through its artist programs, employment and entrepreneurship, will be hosting a series of pop up events across the city for local artists to showcase their work. What the Pop! will include art exhibitions, sales and live performances, hosted in three of Montreal’s artistic hubs - le Plateau on August 10th, the Old Port on August 17th, and Verdun on August 24th.

The events were created not only to give a platform to some of the province’s leading emerging artists, but also to coach the artists in key business skills like marketing and sales so they can make a living doing what they love.

Each of the free pop up exhibitions will be unique, featuring a diverse mix of artwork and performances selected by a jury of leading Quebec artists. Artwork and prints will be available for sale on site, with all proceeds going to the artists.
